LSUC Referral Service

GREAT NEWS

The integration of paralegals into the existing LRS initiative has been approved
The Lawyer Referral Service or LRS will be renamed Law Society Referral Service or LSRS

Development is currently underway to revise the existing on-linereferral and telephone requests as well as the 20+ supporting applications in order to accommodate a paralegal option (this is the I.S. component to ensure that the current programs accept the areas of law a Paralegal can advise on)

The application for paralegals to enrol as members of the LSRS will be sent out/posted on-line mid February

The cost to join the service is $250.00 per year and will be pro-rated on a monthly basis.

We anticipate the launch of the new integrated service in mid April
We are creating a communications strategy to promote the new integrated service
We are also currently revamping/updating all of our existing web content in preparation for this April launch
